Debugging process

  • First of all, it is necessary to understand and master the performance and operation process of the pellet feeder.

  • Before commissioning, the operation of specific equipment should be checked one by one, to understand the crushing particle size of the pulverizer that matches the die hole of the granulator used, the particle size of the raw material should be fine, but not too fine, preferably coarse, medium and fine, and the ideal particle size distribution is recommended as follows:   A. The particle size is more than 3.35mm≤1%, B, the particle size is more than 2.0mm≤5%, C, the particle size is more than 1.0mm≥<> about 20%, D, the particle size is more than 0.5mm, about 30%, E, The particle size below 0.25mm shall not be less than 20%, and the particle size F and the particle size above 0.25mm shall be about 24%.

  • Before commissioning, the warehouse should be cleaned to remove sundries such as stones and welding slag left during the installation process;

  • Before commissioning, check whether the steam pipeline system used has good pressure reduction function and drainage function to ensure that the quenching and tempering steam required for granulation is dry and saturated, and ensure that there is always 0.058-0.4MPa steam behind the pressure reducing valve;

  • Before starting the granulator, the distance between the pressure roller and the ring die should be adjusted, generally when the ring die rotates, the pressure roller does not seem to rotate (that is, the distance between the pressure roller and the ring die is 0.1~0.4MM), the distance between the ring die and the pressure roll can not be adjusted too small, resulting in direct friction, which will not only accelerate the wear of the ring die and the pressure roller, but also reduce the unit output in the production process.

  • When starting the granulation equipment, the feed amount should not reach the maximum value instantaneously, before the feed amount reaches the ideal value (that is, the motor current value is 85~95% of the rated current value during normal production), a little steam should be added at the same time, and a little steam should be added at the same time.

Prevention and corrective measures for undesirable phenomena

  • The particles have axial crack or radial crack phenomenon, high crushing rate and low yield, the reason for this phenomenon is that the quenching temperature cannot be reached, and the material maturity is poor, so the quenching and tempering temperature should be increased to increase the amount of steam during quenching and tempering; It could also be that the tool is far away and blunt, making the particles shortened or torn instead of being cut off;

  • The length of the particles is different, and the distance of the cutting knife should be adjusted or the deflection and scraping position of the material should be adjusted;

  • The surface of the particles is smooth, but the hardness is too high, which may be due to the large compression ratio of the ring die, and the compression ratio of the ring die should be reduced;

  • The surface of the particles is not very smooth and the crushing rate is high, which may be due to the small compression ratio of the ring die, and the compression hole should be expanded. Ring die pressing;

  • When the particle water content is high, the output is low, and the machine is often blocked, it may be that the pressure reducing valve can not play the role of pressure reduction or the trap can not play the role of hydrophobicity, the pressure reducing valve should be adjusted so that the steam pressure entering the regulator reaches 0.1-0.4MPa, and the trap can play the role of hydrophobic. The quenching and tempering temperature can also be increased accordingly, because the increase in temperature is conducive to the improvement of the maturity of the material, and the moisture content of the material increases by about 1% for every 11 °C increase in the general temperature;

  • The tension of the two motor belts should be adjusted so that the tension is as consistent as possible.

Of course, according to the production formula of varieties with higher fiber content, the compression ratio of the ring die should be relatively small, and the compression ratio of the roughage ring die is recommended to be about 8:1. Livestock and poultry breeds, growth stages and pressing raw materials are different, select the best ring die compression ratio, and ensure that the effective length of the die hole is lifted downward, increase the thickness of the ring die, and open the pressure reducing hole.
